Ok, been awhile since I've done an update. We are just a few weeks away from move in. Here are some quick details:

 

1) Electricity - it took awhile, but it's finally in. All underground, about 400ft from the house to the pole. Two 3" runs of electrical conduit and one 2" run for phone. All of the big splice boxes set, conduit mortared into boxes, mule tape pulled, etc. PGE came out and pulled the conduit, installed the meter and we have power.

 

2) Water - The water tanks are in (2 @ 1700 gallons), plumbed to the well, and then they gravity feed to the house and into a pressure tank. There is still some work to do on the pressure tank, and final house plumbing.

 

3) Interior work - The cabinets are in, tile work is mostly done, granite countertops are in, etc. The mason will be out in the next few days to do the chimney and the outside rock work, the electrician will be out to install the fixtures, appliances are on the way, kitchen floor is in, etc. We are making the final decisions on carpet, deck post caps (very hard to find caps to go on round deck posts).

 

4) Propane generator - I got the pad poured and the generator mounted to the pad. Now the electrician just needs to wire it in.
